It's officially been one year since the first Monthly Blog Post was published on March 1st, 2024. I've completed and published twelve posts since then on the 1st day of each month, and now I've decided to begin publishing them on this main site from here on out.
The previous twelve posts will still be accessible for viewing purposes, with the main access points coming from the main place where I advertise and announce Hunty Roads content (A thread I have on the AARoads Forum).
The layout of the next generation of Monthly Updates will be generally the same as the past couple of months, with the news and main updates being towards the top, followed by the main sections that have been around for months.
Now that this is an actual post on the home page of the main site, I'll have to put in the invisible line that blocks the contents of this post off unless you're on the post itself (just click the title) ....
Relocated Content:
Not very long after I began creating the new style of posts on the VA site, I decided that I should reduce clutter even further by creating a 4th site to host this new type of content. So, I created this "Main Site" which has the page tabs leading to the NC Site, VA Site, and Hunty's Travels.
The other three sites will continue having their normal content added to them and this Main Page will have the guide-style, trip planning, blog-like content in it.
Trip Guide Posting:
February is over, and so is the month of LOVE. That means the main focus of the upcoming and future posts will actually be about roads and road trips (There will still be some LOVE posts however). These posts will be about good places to stop at in counties/towns/cities, scenic roads to travel, places to go if you're a road enthusiast, and there will also be posts about features within the route systems, interesting errors (including sign errors), and more.
Those posts will of course be posted here on the main site as mentioned in the above section, and Hunty's Travels will of course have content related to my personal travelling, the NC site will have content related to North Carolina and its roads, and the VA site will do the same for Virginia as it has been for 2 years.

Not as much was done as I would have liked, mainly due to me being sick for 11 days, which is almost half of February. However, don't worry (I'm fine now), there has been new content on Hunty Roads this month:
For those wondering about the lack of VA Site content, don't worry, there is new Route Posts coming and I'm thinking of new section ideas to repopulate the pages tab, same with the NC Site.

I took a trip last month. That means the already-taken trips list for the year finally makes a return to the section, even if there's only one entry. Also, like the first trip for my 2024, the destination was not on the previous month's list, which is a good sign of things to come in terms of surprises:

The "Hunty's Travel Chances" may be relocated to Hunty's Travels, which will be a decision I make sometime this month before making the April Blog Update. Depending on if there is anything new that I add to Hunty Roads, there may or may not be more news/announcements sections in April.
The fun fact remains, and this time it will be about something from North Carolina; I-74 and US 74 in the southern part of the state is a rare example of two routes with the same number being concurrent with each other.
